Dr. MOHAMED HANIF BUTT
FOUNDER AND HEAD COACH
I played Soccer as a kid because it made me happy. I enjoyed playing soccer almost every day with my family and friends. I played organized soccer until High School level until I decided to pursue a career to become a Dentist, after which I only played for fun. Now, my Passion has been reignited by my son who plays soccer, and I enjoy coaching youth soccer.
My aim, as a coach, is to create a positive, supportive and challenging learning environment where players are treated with respect and dignity; feel safe, have fun, and can develop holistically to become great soccer players.
I perceive myself more as a mentor in life skills than solely a coach. Beyond coaching, I offer guidance and support in life skills, education, and personal growth and building long term relationships. My coaching focuses on incorporating personal growth, life skills, academics guidance, long term player and team development into a Holistic Athlete. I encourage creative and innovative thinking and make my players to think out of the box.
Children in Urban and Underserved communities face distinct challenges when it comes to the game of soccer. They struggle to find safe places to play as well as established organizations to play with. It has been proven in the country that giving an at risk child a chance to play sports will keep them healthier, in schools and out of trouble. I believe that all children deserve the opportunity to be part of a soccer program that provides a healthy, safe environment away from the negative influences they may face in their everyday lives.
A few years back, I started working as a coach and referee with the inner-city kids, who were playing unstructured soccer (street soccer) in the parks. Every day, I see young talent go untapped and wasted because there was no direction for them with no guidance or access to well-trained coaches. I have taken kids in underserved communities playing unstructured (street soccer) and given them some direction and guidance into structured program for Player and Team development.
I started Almasi Soccer Academy, a non-profit initiative to help and support children with little or no access to organized soccer and given them an opportunity to easy low barrier organized youth soccer programs and safe places to play and have fun.

MUHAMMAD ALI BUTT
CO-FOUNDER AND ASSISTANT COACH
Muhammad has been playing Soccer since he was 2 years old.
Muhammad has been playing for the Brookline school since Grade 1 and was the top scorer in his team.
Later in Grade 3 he played for the Somerville Youth Soccer and was the top Soccer in his Division.
He has also played tournaments with Boston Vigor where his team won the Trophy. He has played for the SURF SOCCER Elite program. He also played the New England Soccer Tournament, Fall 2023
In the tryouts in June 2023, Muhammad has been selected for the State Select League and for the private club Boston Vigor.
Muhammad is a talented, avid, and passionate soccer player.
SARA BUTT
CO-FOUNDER AND ASSISTANT COACH
Sara has been playing Soccer since she was 4 years old.
Sara joined the Harvard Girls Crimson in 2022 and was trained in all aspects of soccer.
Sara has been playing for the Somerville Youth soccer since Grade 2 and was top scorer in her team.
Later in Grade 3 she played on the Girls Travel team.
Sara is a passionate soccer enthusiast and has a promising future
Sara played summer champ with Boston Vigor.
